A: I can attend site and close your window, then prepare a quote for repair or replacement.
A: There is a standard attendance fee which includes either 1 hour fault finding, or basic window service or labour to re-glaze one window up to 2 metres high. Please ring for the current charge depending on your location.
A: This depends on the condition of the window, if you send a detailed description of the window, and a photo, I am happy to give free advice via E mail or phone call.
Q: Do I need Building Regulations approval to replace/ install roof windows?
A1: New window installation; yes if new roof windows are to be fitted, the structure of the roof will need to be altered, and this could affect the stability of the building. If you are unsure if the alteration will require approval please talk to PMV Maintenance or contact your Local building control Office. LABC website
A2:To install Replacement windows; Yes.There are 2 options;
· To have the work carried out by an installer such as PMV Maintenance who are registered with the Competent Persons Scheme CERTASS 
· To make a Building Regulation application*

A: This depends upon the area you live, and the availability of parts required, on average 1 to 2 weeks. If you have a window jammed open, I can offer an emergency service for closure of the window.
